Frequently asked questions

Can I book an estimate without subscribing to your estimating software?

Yes absolutely, booking in an estimate to be priced up does not require a live subscription to our software. You will still receive full access to our software for the job that we estimate for you, allowing you to amend/alter any of the rates you need to and create your own amendments, should the project scope change.

How much does it cost?

What happens if I need the estimate amending?

We offer an estimate amending service free of charge. If there is anything you need amending or updating, just let us know and we will take care of that for you.

If your amendment is due to a change of design, that materially changes the scope of the project, a small additional charge may be incurred, but we will discuss this with you before proceeding.

Do you offer support?

Yes we do, if, at any stage, you need to discuss the project with us or need help setting up your admin controls to your rates, feel free to contact us here.

Frequently asked questions

Do unused estimates roll over to the next month?

No - the monthly allowance resets at the start of each month. Unused estimates do not roll over unless agreed in writing.

Can I cancel my retainer?

Yes - you can cancel anytime with 30 days’ written notice before your next billing date.

What if I need more estimates than my plan allows?

You can either upgrade to a higher plan or pay for additional estimates at our standard PAYG rate.

Do I get priority service on a retainer?

Yes - retainer clients receive priority turnaround compared to PAYG clients, though specific deadlines are still subject to workload and agreement.

How do I pay?

Retainer plans are paid monthly in advance by card or direct debit through our secure Stripe checkout. PAYG estimates are paid upfront per order.

Is there a long‑term contract?

No - retainers are rolling monthly agreements with just 30 days’ notice required to cancel.

Do you guarantee the final build cost?

No - we provide estimates based on the information you supply and industry rates at the time. Actual build costs may vary.
